Our experience with Research Turf Management was excellent. The builder of our home planted three Live Oaks in our small 300 square foot yard which caused too much shade for grass to grow and as time went on, our yard had become a weed ridden, muddy mess. Having two terriers didn’t help the situation, as all of the mud would track into the house after every outing.
We decided to look into artificial turf solutions and xeriscaping, and after getting a few quotes, opted to go with Research. Gye’s expertise was apparent by his recommendations – he knew that what we were asking wasn’t ideal based on the type of trees we have and their growth patterns, he could tell the age of each individual tree, and recommended the best solution to maximize our space and budget. I can’t say the same for any of the other contractors who simply quoted based on our ask and didn’t provide recommendations around longevity and maintenance.
Though we faced some unforeseen delays due to an unprecedented amount of rain, as soon as it was dry enough for the crew to work, our project was done in no time. Gye and team did an amazing job and our dogs couldn’t be happier with their new play area. Additionally, the office manager, Chelsea, stayed in constant communication with us throughout the entire process. She was very friendly, understanding and on top of it the entire time.
I would 100% recommend Research to anyone looking for lawn services and will definitely use them again for future projects.
